Europe supports european movies

Sex sells, basic rule of advertising (or at least that what advertisers seem to think). So, that means we get to sit through some pretty moronic commercials (particularly American beer ads). The European Commission is apparently learning that lesson all too well. In an attempt to promote the activities of the Commission in a new and exciting medium, they created EUtube on Youtube. It has all kinds of short videos (some quite amusing, some even a little strange) about the benefits of a united Europe. Of course, the number one video (by far) has been a racy 30 second spot for European films. I simply cannot imagine an ad like this being produced here in Canada. As for the U.S., it would probably cause a stroke in more than one senator or congressional representative. Of course, the one country in Europe in which there were complaints is England. I love it, the tagline is crude but absolutely perfect! BTW, this might not be safe for work (I guess that depends on whether you work in the EU or not). The video is below:
